TM Trading GmbH was founded in 2003 by Thomas Goldinger in Switzerland – initially as a one-man operation. As the parent company of TMH Trading, it laid the foundation for what would become an internationally operating business in the field of tactical equipment and night vision technology.

Thomas, who comes from a commercial background, has always had a strong personal interest in history – particularly military history – as well as geopolitics and technology. Combined with his passion for shooting sports and practical experience gained as a non-commissioned officer in the military and in private security, these interests became the driving force behind the founding of the company and its early focus on night vision and tactical equipment.

In 2005, a major milestone was reached: Thomas began working full-time for the company, moved into new office and warehouse facilities, and hired the first employee. During this phase, his brother Martin also joined the company for several years.

In 2009, Thomas and Martin teamed up with Harald Kirchner to establish TMH Trading GmbH in Austria – a strategic move to meet growing international demand.

In 2011, TMH relocated to Steyr-Gleink, where a new warehouse facility was established. Just one year later, TMH acquired the Clawgear brand and successfully developed and positioned it within the market. Over the following years, the team grew to over 100 employees, and the company’s success scaled accordingly.

In 2022, Thomas and Harald stepped back from day-to-day operations. Two years later, in 2024, Arthur Hentges took over as CEO, bringing a fresh perspective to align TMH with the challenges of a rapidly evolving market. Today, TMH Trading is a dynamic and growing company – driven by the strength of its team.
